Celebrate love and freediving in this unique Valentine's Day competition! đ
Test your underwater breath-hold skills while sharing a romantic moment with your partner. This special event combines the thrill of freediving with the spirit of Valentine's Day.
Competition Rules
đ Pool Conditions
- Depth: 2.5m
- Water Temperature: 26.9°C
đ Equipment
Each athlete will be provided with a small, positively buoyant heart with the first letter of their name attached to their wrist on a 30cm long cable.
âąī¸ Timing
- Start: The time starts counting when both hearts of the pair are fully submerged beneath the water surface
- Stop: The time stops when the first heart of the pair reaches the surface
âī¸ Weights
Athletes are allowed to wear weights at the following locations:
- Neck
- Waist
- Ankles (maximum 4kg total on ankles)
đ Kissing Requirements
Participants must be kissing underwater during their performance. While there are no specific rules about how long your lips must be in contact, keep in mind that you are expected to be actively kissing throughout the attempt.
This is not doubles static. Judges have the final call in validating the performance.
đĨ Participants
This is a pairs competition. Both partners must remain underwater for the time to count. The pair with the longest time wins!

Special prizes await the winning couple! Details will be announced closer to the event.

The Valentine's Day session is FREE for all registered participants of Suunto Freedive Games 2026. Make sure to register for the main event to secure your spot in this romantic competition!
